Restoring the Pitchfork Ranch tells the story of a decades-long habitat restoration project on the 11\,300-acre ranch in southwestern New Mexico. Learn about what inspired A. Thomas Cole and his wife\, Lucinda\, to dedicate their retirement years to restoring this critical habitat and wildlife corridor while weaving together stories of mine strikers\, cattle ranching\, and the pressing challenges of the climate crisis. A Q&A and book signing will follow the reading. \nThis free event is co-hosted by Borderlands Restoration Network\, Patagonia Public Library\, and The Patagonia Museum.
